day 2 : essaouira - taroudante

toady will drive south to explore the town of Taroudant, which sometimes called « The little Marrakesh », this town is spectacular for the beauty of its Medina and its massive ramparts.You will also visit the Argane gloves, at Souss river valley, passing by agadir to explore the city , with its stunning beach and corniche, souks, historical Kasbah and plentiful cafes. in our 6 Days desert tour from Marrakech to merzouga. arriving late afternoon to our hotel in taroudante for an over night.

day 3 : taroudante - Ouarzazate

We start Today from Taroudant south via the Anti Atlas Mountains. We will stop in the town of Taliouine known as the capital of Saffron. There is the possibility of enjoying a visit of a local Cooperative to see the production process of Saffron. Afterwards we continue the drive to visit Ouarzazate where many famous movies have been shot such Alexander the Great, The Mummy, The jewel of the Nile, Kingdom of heaven Etc. Overnight with dinner in Ouarzazate.

day 4 : Ouarzazate - merzouga

Morning pick up from Ouarzazate and start with crossing the vast Anti-Atlas mountains, you arrive at the green and peaceful Draa Valley which is famous for its huge date groves and henna fields. The Draa river in the valley of the same name is with 1'100 km Morocco’s longest river. The valley consists of many traditional Berber villages with Kasbahs of the 17th and 18th century built of mud and straw, huge green date palm groves. after Merzouga is waiting , after you arrive will experience camel ride to reach the desert while enjoying a spectacular sunset over merzouga dunes. Enjoy your evening dining in a luxury berber tent, under the stars.

day 5 : merzouga - dades

wake up early morning for a lovely Sunrise picture , and have your breakfast in open air, at the camp , pack and go back on 4x4 leaving the dunes behind. Back on the meeting point , continue west to pass into erfoud . Make your way to the Oasis town of Tinerhir before reaching Todra Gorge. You will have time to explore the gorge stretching your legs and relaxing in the cool water of the shallow Todra River. Leave Tinghir behind and drive to Dades Valley. Upon arrival to Dades, we will deviate into a secondary road heading up to Dades gorges. The area is known for the stunning rocks and kasbahs along the gorge. It is one of the most scenic drives morocco . spend a night in the heart of the valley.

day 6 : dades - marrakech

today we will drive up for a the panoramic view of the sneaky road of tisdrine before we continue following the valley of One Thousand Kasbahs', here you will find endless oases and palmeries scattered with an abundance of historic kasbahs, once used as refuges and places of defence when the cities were under attack. Arrive to Kallaat Mgouna " La vallee des Roses" , known for its Festival of Roses. Next, continue west to Ouarzazate, pass Oasis town of Skoura where we will stop to visit Amredile Kasbah in the middle of Skoura Palm groves. Upon Arrival to Ouarzazate a gateway to the Sahara Desert made popular by the film industry. Join a studio tour and discover how the nearby desert landscapes have been featured in many films, have lunch in one of the local restaurants. Afterwards we will drive to Aït Benhaddou. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Aït Benhaddou is believed to date from the 11th century during a time when it held an important position along the trans-Saharan trade route.after visiting the kasbah we will continue driving along ounilla valley , crossing the pass of tizi ntichka , in the atlas mountains, back to the red city of marrakech. here is your 6-day desert tour via the coast ends. with a lot of memories .
